St John Fisher: Our Vision
At St John Fisher, we strive to create a school community where children and adults achieve their full potential and SHINE! We will achieve this through engagement, high expectations and by treating all with respect and dignity.
- We build truthful communications with all members of our school, parish and wider community to ensure children can thrive with safe and effective care.
We are lucky to have a dedicated group of parents and grandparents who work hard to raise funds for our children and support the school through various events throughout the year.
This year, our School Council are working closely with our PTA to raise money to make our playground even more of a fun place to be. We’ll keep you updated on their progress.
The Autumn term Film Night was a great success and the PTA are busy planning the next one.
The Christmas Bingo was well attended as always this year. Many thanks to the local businesses and our families who made contributions and also to the PTA, without whom, the Bingo would not be as successful.
Our PTA used monies raised last year to help give our library area a facelift and help us to encourage our children to read often and widely. We have our own
librarian, Mrs Perry, who worked with other members of the PTA to catalogue all of the books ready for children to loan.
We are excited about our new library and will be working with children to design some artwork to be displayed inside.
All of our children will benefit from this wonderful resource and we couldn’t do it without the hard work of the members of the PTA and the support of our families.
