Yr 1 Internet Safety Day
Yr 1 -Today in Year 1 we engaged in a lot of discussion all about Internet Safety day. The children were all very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about how to stay safe online. We discussed the importance of staying safe online and who the appropriate person is to go to if we were ever unsure. We all ended the lesson feeling confident about how to stay safe online.
Yr 3 Internet Safety Day
The children discussed what online means and the various ways they access the internet. E.g. Ps4, tablets, Nintendo, mobile phones, TV.
We discussed protecting our identity and how strangers can also make false identities.
Year 6 have been taking part in gang crime workshops
This week, Year 6 have been taking part in gang crime workshops from ‘Get away and stay safe’. The focus of the sessions has been to educate our children about the rejection of gang lifestyle and how to keep themselves safe.
