Year 6

Year 6 Class Right: Refugee Children

Children who move from their home country to another as a refugee should get help and protection and have the same rights as children born in that country.

Welcome to Year 6

Dear Parents and children, we are thrilled to have you as part of the Year 6 team. We are extremely excited for all the fun and challenges that we will endure along the way, but more importantly, we can’t wait to get to know all your unique personalities and help you fulfil your true potential. We will always have high expectations in everything we do and will always aim to let our lights shine. Although it will be a strange year for us all, I’m sure if we work together it will certainly be a successful one. Please use our class page to find lots of useful information and important details about events. You will also be able to contact us through Class Dojo.

Year 6 Team

Miss McCarthy

I am so happy to be your Year 5 teacher this year and I am really looking forward to getting to know you all and finding out all your qualities and talents. I like to see children embrace their uniqueness and be proud of who they are. I am particularly looking forward to helping you to develop your creativity in Art and Design Technology and also eager to see you all grow in confidence as actors as we take part in the Shakespeare Festival, re-enacting ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

Mrs Murphy

Mr Bates

I have enjoyed getting to know you over the years and I am lucky enough to teach you for science again in Year 6. I look forward to developing your questioning skills and your ability to draw conclusions based upon the evidence from practical work.
