‘The Incredible Book Eating Boy’ by Oliver Jeffers
After reading ‘The Incredible Book Eating Boy’ by Oliver Jeffers and learning about the digestive system in our Science lessons, Year 4 used a range of materials to make a junk model of the digestive system. We spent time researching junk model artists, Leo Sewell and Michelle Reader, and discovered the techniques and materials they use in their work.
Daily Mile at SJF
At St John Fisher, each class takes part in a mile run at least twice a week. We use our playground and field to do complete our runs and always have fun doing it! It has helped to develop our fitness and stamina as well as helping us to concentrate and be more alert in our lessons.
