Welcome to our Year 5 class page.
“Believe in the light so that you will be children of the light.”
In Year 5 we always strive to make learning enjoyable for all. We aim to achieve our full potential in all parts of our education by taking risks and encouraging challenges, even when tasks are difficult. We work together to support and encourage each other as friends and as a class family. Please use our class page as a place to find important information such as events and dates as well as examples of our amazing work!

“We are such stuff as dreams are made on..” – The Tempest
This term, we are currently very busy preparing ourselves for our participation in the Shakespeare festival. This year we will be performing William Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’. We have shown fantastic enthusiasm and dedication to the play and have taken the time to understand the characters and what emotions we want to portray to our audience. We have really pulled together and have encouraged each other as a team to perform this play to the best of our ability and are really excited to perform it to our parents.
Here are a selection of websites which will complement learning across a range of subjects. Some are interactive walk-throughs, others are games for children to practice skills and have fun.
